How do I migrate swisstopo maps to another device?

Purchased swisstopo map tiles and credits are bound to the device you have used during purchase. However, you are able to transfer remaining credits and purchased map to another device: Since v1.0.0.17, you can execute a device mgiration on your own. Preconditions to do so are 1)you know the device ID's of both devices and 2) you have already installed Outdoor Atlas on both devices. Then, you can initiate the device migration from your old device. Go in Outdoor Atlas into Settings->Maps->swisstopo->Device Migration. This will start the migration wizard that will guide you through the process. After successfully completing the wizards, the swisstopop maps and credits will be available on the new device immediately.

In case you have lost your old device or its broken, then we can help you out. Please send us following information with your migration request:
  • The device ID of your new device. You will find it in Outdoor Atlas under Settings->Application Info->Device ID.
  • The mail of your purchase confirmations from Google Play. If you don't have them anymore, you can find them in your Google Wallet account. Log into Google Wallet with the GMail-account from your device. Under 'Transactions', you will then find the liste of all Google Play purchases you have done. Select the appropriate purchases - we need the transaction ID's from the order details.

Send us an email to info(at) with the information above and we will migrate your map tiles/credits to the new device. After our confirmation, you can download purchased map tiles imemdiately and use your credits.
